Directions from the airports to the sylvan guesthouse

Direc­tions:

By Sub­way: Take the C train to the 163rd St. Sta­tion. Walk one block down St. Nicholas Ave. to Syl­van Ter­race, which is across from 161st St. Walk just past the C-Town Super­mar­ket and find the stairs to Syl­van Ter­race. Walk up the stairs to the Ter­race and down the street to Num­ber 12.

By Taxi: Tell the dri­ver 161st St. and St. Nicholas Avenue. Get off on the right side in front of the C-Town Super­mar­ket. Next to the super­mar­ket are stairs lead­ing up to Syl­van Ter­race. Walk up the stairs and down the street to num­ber 15.

FROM JFK: You can catch the A Train at the Howard Beach Sub­way Sta­tion at JFK. From your ter­mi­nal, take the Air­train to Howard Beach (pay when exit­ing the Air­train sys­tem to go into the sub­way sta­tion), and sub­way fare on the A Train. You take the A Train all the way to 145th St. in Harlem and switch to the local C train. Take the C Train 2 stops to 163rd St. and fol­low above direc­tions. Total time on sub­way is about 65 minutes.
